in what CATEGORY should we spend most of our budget on?

Everyone has a wedding budget. Whether that is 40k+, 20k, 15k, or even under 10k. It is okay to have a lower budget. Everyone can be creative for their wedding details that fits them best, you can DIY a lot yourselves as well. You don't want to go in great debt because or your wedding. It is 1 day, yes its super important but you have to prepare to spend money on your mortgage or rent, groceries, bills, etc. If you put all your savings in your wedding you will have struggles there after. Friend, it is okay to have a lower budget then your friends, sisters, etc had for their wedding. You do you! So let me help you with 5 of the most important things to invest your $ in for your wedding.

FIRST: It is your videographer and photographer. These are one of the only memories that you will have left of your wedding. You want a RELIABLE photographer and videographer (if you chose to have a videographer) You want someone that is responding promptly and that is willing to meet you before your wedding. You want to find a photographer that you like their style, and you fit good for each other, you want an TRUSTED photographer. Because this vendor will be with you on your day and be beside you more then your fiance almost! ;) You want the best experience and the best images from your special day as well.

SECOND: Your vendor, You want a space that you walk into and fall in love with instantly. We personally made this mistake by finding a venor a little later in our engagement so it became stressful, as we didn't find the one at first, and the closer we got to our date the more were booked up. You want to get this booked quickly.

You also want a venue that will fit the amount of guests you want, that will fit your needs and your budget as well. You want to thoroughly enjoy your environment that you will be spending the whole evening with your closest family and friends.

THIRD: Your rings, wedding dress and attire, which includes your dream dress, the hairdresser, the best seamstress, Your favorite color in bridesmaids dresses and suits for the groom and groomsmen. You want everyone looking the way you always dreamed of, especially in the colors and style you love!

FOURTH: Your flowers and decorations. What is your favorite flowers? There are so many you love right, and it definitely can be overwhelming because there are so many choices and so much thought to put into it! Which also includes are the flowers going to last on your hot summer day or cold winter wedding day. There are so many things to take in consideration when it comes to flowers and Bouquets. That is why there are so many fantastic florists that are more then willing to help you out! For our wedding we had in the winter our florist was this sweet lady that I picked apples at in the past and photograph each spring and fall in the orchard in, she mentioned to me that it would be too much to do all the bouquets her self so my favorite girls and I went there the day before our big day and had such a fun time with it! It never hurts to ask am I right!

FIFTH: Is your meals, what are you having for dinner it is serving plates or buffet style, what is your favorite food that makes you mouth water? Does the venue or the catering company have all the things you like most? You want to fill your guests and your own bellies with your favorite food as it is a long day and very often you forget to eat in the day because you are just too busy! and to top the night off with some delicious cake and desserts. (I'm not going to lie that one of my favorite times of the day, haha!)
